  The Mankato Rotary is involved with the Salvation Army bell ringing, Holiday Sharing Tree sponsor, Youth and Drug Awareness, Junior Achievement, Alternative High School, Boy Scouts, Underprivileged Children Christmas Party, March of Dimes, and many other service avenues.
  
  Other Community Projects

  • Forensic awards to high school students for excellence in speech and debate
  • Strive fundraising and mentoring to support high school students wtih a GPA in the lower 1/3 of their class
  • Support for students attending RYLA
  • Rotation of meetings to various businesses several times per year
  • Literacy program--Book donation to third graders in area schools

    • Countires include Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Chili, Czechoslovakia, Ecuador, England, Georgia, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, South Africa, Spain, and Sweden.
  • Group Study Exchange (GSE) Teams
    • Countires include Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and Taiwan.
  • Ambassadorial Peace Scholars - Hosting scholars from Czech Republic and Japan
  • Support for Fast for Hope and Rotary Foundation, PolioPlus, Bangladesh Project, Haiti Water Project, Jamaica Eye Clinic, and International Special Olympics.
